In addition to complying with all regulations on accessibility, Bilbao Intermodal is a 'designated station' as per Regulation (EU) No 181/2011. The station provides specialist free assistance to all disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility.

Anyone wishing to use this service should visit the information point. Station staff will verify their need for the service and provide the required assistance..

This service is available for persons with reduced mobility. It applies to persons whose mobility when using public transport is reduced owing to a physical disability (permanent or temporary sensory or locomotor disability), learning disability or impairment, or any other type of disability. It is also available to those persons whose age or circumstances require that the services for travellers be tailored and adapted to their particular needs.

Application for assistance

Those people who need to make use of this service, will notify the need for assistance and their specific needs to the different bus operating companies, as well as to the staff of the Intermodal Bilbao station with a minimum notice of 36 hours and for trips of more than 250 kilometres. If you do not anticipate this notice, you should go to the information point to coordinate the specific needs.

In the ground floor hall we have an intercom point where users who need it can communicate with the information desk and request the necessary help and information.
